Worldwide American bank BNY Mellon needed to improve its customer-facing public database of American depository receipts (ADR). Naturally, a data-heavy page would have lacked in the design and ease-of-use departments. However, the design team in conjunction with the development teams collaborated on a design-focused, yet highly functional site that blends rich data and great UX principles. The result is a highly interactive and equally informative interface.
The DR Directory on the BNY Mellon site is built in AngularJS that combines two-way data binding with rich interactive form controls that update data at each turn. Detailed ADR information is displayed in an extended modal, allowing the user to quickly return to the underlying results.
